Great trip to Lonavala and khandala

Me and my friend Gagan always use to talk about many things, mainly about college days, future plans, tours and lots more.we have waited for an opportunity for going an outing with friends for many months.
Last year(2008), Gagan's friends who were working in Pune planned for going to lonavala and khandala, so gagan invited me to come with them.
Its 6 o clock in evening, i have packed all the things and got ready. I have got a call from gagan, says two of his friends were not joining tour as they had some urgent work. i felt its ok... we have other two guys, they ll come with us.But atlast they gave us hand.
But, we didn't cancelled our plan as it was a rare opportunity for us.we catched a bus in surat that night, reached pune on next day early morning.
Many of my friends were woking in infosys pune. so i planned that to stay in their room. My friend muthu came and picked us from bus stop. we went to their room and every body in his room got introduced to gagan, and became so close to gagan .
Everybody got shocked that a punjabi sardar speaking in tamil that fluently.
We requested all my friends to join with us but unfortunately those guys went to the same place a week before. so we didn't forced to join us.
so we went to pune station and caught a local train which goes till lonavala. its a great experience in train. an old man sitting next to us is a resident of lonavala. we had a good conversation with him, and he told many things about lonavala and khandala, and how to go.we roamed many places in lonavala like tiger point and lot more points. we went to many places as there is no constraints. we both decided to roam wherever our mind tells.
The unforgettable moment is that,we had a cola-gola(ice candy with cola), it tasted delicious. time passed very fastly, we both covered all the major places in lanavala and khandala. so decided to go to a famous durga temple near lonavala. we got into an auto rickshaw and went to that temple.
But the scene is somewhat different there. Drunken people, a group playing drums, many people dancing for that drum beats. women carrying goats and hens for gibing sacrifice to god. every where they is blood marks in the road.
As soon as we saw those scenes we came back from there and returned back to lonavala. did some shopping, as lonavala is famous for groundnut cakes(burfies).
we returned back to pune by evening. next day we went to many shopping plazas in pune watched a movie and returned back to surat.

This is actually a nice feeling that only we two went to a trip, absolutely enjoyed and learned many things.
